In 1994, Universal Laundries introduced the debit card technology for eliminating coins in the laundry facility. This system is still state of the art today. It also offers other benefits, such as giving management complete access to refunds. Thus, giving them accountability on-site. In 1998, we implemented another product, the SmartCard debit card. This allows more customers to join and use our cashless laundry facilities program. Now over 20,000 residences enjoy the ease of doing laundry in our state of art equipment with a debit card start system.
